Due to the overwhelming response and request for more time, UDOT has extended the deadline for comments to March 20, 2019.
A future environmental study will determine the preferred alignment and UDOT will coordinate with Federal Highways Administration (FHWA) to make a final determination on the feasibility of realigning a portion of U.S. 189 and U.S. 40. As such, we encourage you to stay involved during the environmental study, which will begin once funding is obtained.
The project study team recognizes the complexity of the transportation challenges in the Heber Valley and would like to extend the comment period by an additional two weeks to allow the community more time to review the open house materials and prepare comments.
