Serious Head On Crash on US 189

A crash on Highway189 yesterday resulted in two being airlifted to hospitals. UHP saying the head on accident occurred Tuesday afternoon on US 189 near the Wallsburg turnoff. A Toyota Corolla traveling southbound crossed over the center lane into the northbound lanes. A green Ford F250 pickup truck traveling toward Heber moved to avoid a collision but was hit on the front driver side by the Corolla. The driver of the Corolla was flown by air ambulance to a nearby hospital. The driver of the F250 was partially ejected and also flown by air ambulance. Officers are still investigating.
