(St. George, UT) — With winter weather in full effect, a Zion Park ranger is asking visitors to be better prepared for emergencies. Ranger Vance Swett tells St. George News that during the winter months immediate search and rescue is not guaranteed. Typically Zion search and rescue is called around 100 times a year.
