Zion National Park Happy With Program To Reduce Congestion At Angels Landing

(Zion National Park, UT) — Officials at Zion National Park are very happy with efforts to reduce congestion and overcrowding on the trail that leads to Angels Landing. The superintendent of the park says the pilot program that began two years ago has helped hikers have better experiences while traveling to Angels Landing. About 200-thousand permits a year have been issued to help spread out hiking times each day. More information about the permit system is available on the Zion National Park website.
