Winter Weather and Wind Advisories Issued for Utah

(Undated) — The National Weather Service has issued Winter Weather Advisories and a Wind Advisory for parts of Utah, lasting through tomorrow. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Southern Mountains, including Brian Head and Alton, until 5 a.m. Tuesday, with 6 to 12 inches of snow expected and up to 18 inches in the Tushar Mountains and near Brian Head. Additional advisories are in place for the Wasatch Mountains, Western Uinta Mountains, Wasatch Plateau, Book Cliffs, and Central Mountains, where 6 to 12 inches of snow, with potentially higher amounts, are expected in the Upper Cottonwoods and Pahvant Mountains. This advisory will last until 11 a.m. tomorrow.
