Wind, snow slows traffic in Salt Lake City region

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Wind and snow from a late winter storm created hazardous driving conditions in the Salt Lake City region during the Wednesday morning commute.

Traffic between the state’s most populous city and Provo was slowed to a reported average speed of 20 mph (32 kph).

The National Weather Service said snow accumulations in the Salt Lake City could total up to 3 inches (7 centimeters).
