SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.
81.29 percent of covid-19 cases statewide are recovered (221,055-271,940).
18.25 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (49,629-271,940) are active cases.
In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (2,533) exceeded new active cases (60).
There are 171,426 more recoveries than active cases statewide.
Of the 10,873 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19, 484 are currently hospitalized or 4.45 percent.
Of the 484, 156 are in ICU or 32.2 percent of ICU occupancy.
81.3 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 85.4 percent of ICU referral center beds.
1,256 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide, or 0.462 percent of all-time cases.
Wasatch School District currently reports 39 active cases out of 465 all-time cases. This drops the percentage to 8.39 percent. Tuesday, this was at 8.68 percent.
Wasatch County has 3,156 all-time cases, 79 all-time hospitalizations and 15 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
