Weber State University To Conduct 2020 Commencement Ceremony August 29

OGDEN, Utah-Weber State University, per a Thursday announcement, will conduct the 2020 commencement ceremony Saturday August 29.

This will occur at 8:00 pm at Stewart Stadium.

Presently, 768 graduates are registered to attend. Each of them are permitted four guests.

School officials say this event will carefully follow the Utah Department of Health and the Weber-Morgan Health Department’s recommendations for social distancing.

In compliance with the state’s phased guidelines, all in attendance must wear a face covering.

Weber State President Brad Mortensen applauded the graduates’ “grit and tenacity” in lauding their accomplishments to get to this point.
