DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah-As of 11:00 pm MDT Friday evening, Wasatch County Search and Rescue confirmed that 34-year-old Robert “Austin” Harker’s vehicle had been located.
His vehicle is presently at the Lake Canyon Area of Duchesne County. Duchesne County Search and Rescue is also assisting in this expedition. The National Guard Helicopter Team and Great Basin Canine are also on the mountain in hopes of finding Harker.
Harker’s family is present and assisting in the search, which is in the Strawberry Reservoir area southeast of Heber City.
As of yet, there is no further word on any leads SAR has in locating Harker. Thursday morning at 11:00 am, Harker, who is from the Millcreek area, told his wife he would return from a fly fishing trip that evening but he never returned.
