WASATCH COUNTY, Utah-This past weekend, Wasatch County Search & Rescue was effective in serving those in need in saving adventurers from haphazard situations.
Early Sunday morning, Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch was called with reports of an automobile that had rolled off of the road.
First responders were called to the scene, at the Guardsman Pass/Bonanza Flat area.
The driver did not suffer any serious injuries. Another vehicle had rolled and been abandoned in the Pine Canyon area.
The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, Wasatch County Search and Rescue and Wasatch County Fire all responded to the scene.
In an incident reported Friday, Wasatch County Search and Rescue responded to an ATV accident. This was a 24-year-old male who had rolled off the side of the road at Cummings Parkway near Deer Creek. He had suffered serious injuries.
LifeFlight was called upon to assist in the patient’s evacuation from the area.
Those who assisted in this rescue include Wasatch County Fire & EMS, Intermountain Healthcare LifeFlight and Utah State Parks.
