WASATCH COUNTY, Utah-Saturday, per their official Instagram account, Wasatch County Search and Rescue had a productive day in assisting those in need in the Heber Valley.
An incident dating back to January 4 had a resolution. Concerning this matter, 911 was first called in Utah County by two men on rental sleds who had departed from the Strawberry Reservoir area and ended up headed in the wrong direction.
Utah County Search and Rescue then sent a team up from the west side with Wasatch County Search and Rescue then countering by sending a team in from the east side.
The men, agred 47 and 53 respectively, were found to be in good shape after authorities tracked them down.
In other Wasatch County Search and Rescue activities Saturday, select members of search and rescue participated in an ice rescue training activity at Jordanelle Reservoir.
More members are currently going through the ice rescue certification course and will continue by doing field work activities Sunday at Jordanelle.
