HEBER CITY, Utah-As of Saturday, Wasatch County residents now have access to free, rapid covid-19 tests.
Wasatch County School District confirmed this in a Facebook post.
“Dear Wasatch Family,
We are excited to announce the availability for all community members to receive a FREE COVID-19 rapid test through a temporary TestUtah site at the Wasatch County Event Center. This temporary site will offer FREE drive-up, rapid (Antigen) tests during the following dates & times:
Monday, 01/04 (8:00am to 3:00pm)
Tuesday, 01/05 (12:00pm to 7:00pm)
Monday, 01/11 (8:00am to 3:00pm)
Tuesday 01/12 (12:00pm to 7:00pm)
To schedule a FREE test, please visit: www.TestUtah.com
Rapid Antigen tests are fast and easy. A soft swab is shallowly wiped on the inside of each nostril. The test takes 15-20 minutes to process. Community members may be tested with or without symptoms and regardless of a known exposure.
As we wind down from the holiday break, we hope this free testing opportunity will help quickly identify new cases and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our schools. As always, regardless of testing, please remember students and staff should not attend school or other activities if symptomatic.
We look forward to seeing our students back in class on Wednesday, January 6th. May you continue to enjoy your last few days of break. Stay healthy & safe!”
