HEBER CITY, Utah-Tuesday, the Wasatch County Health Department revealed weekly covid-19 stats for Wasatch County.
Per information released by Wasatch County Health Department Health Education and Media Relations Coordinator Trudy Brereton, 850-1,123 cases countywide are recovered, or 75.69 [75.7] percent.
Of the 1,123 cases, 264 are active, or 23.51 (23.508) percent.
Nine deaths have occurred, or 0.801 percent of cases.
The recoveries are above the Utah state average (78,946-107,228; 73.62) percent) and the active cases percentage is lower than the state average (27,704-107,228; 25.84 percent).
Wasatch County currently has 45 recorded hospitalizations for covid-19, or 4.1 (4.007) percent. The Wasatch County Health Department has not revealed how many of these 45 are currently hospitalized.
Statewide, current covid-19 hospitalizations are at 5.726 (5.73) percent (296-5,196).
Of the 296, 111 are in ICU or 37.5 percent of ICU occupancy. ICU occupancy statewide is at 66.8 percent.
Utah’s death rate for covid-19 dropped to 0.539 percent (578-107,228) per Tuesday’s report.
