HEBER CITY, Utah-After the demolition derby kicked off Wasatch County Fair festivities this past week, activities continue Monday through Saturday August 3 at Heber City.
Currently, entries for open class exhibits and 4-H and children’s room exhibits are underway.
This evening, from 6:00-9:00 pm, there will be an activity in the park and from 6:30-7:00 pm, the Wasatch County Talent Find will be underway.
Tuesday, from 8:00-9:30 am, entries for the 4-H and open class baked good exhibits will be underway. There will also be a pool party from 1:00-3:00 pm.
Wednesday, the country market opens from 4:00-10:00 pm with the carnival also running from 4:00-10:00 pm. There will be stage entertainment from 5:45-8:30 pm and a barbecue dinner from 6:00-7:00 pm. Hypnotist Shawn Paulsen will perform from 6:30-7:30 pm. The 4-H beef and swine weigh-ins will run from 7:00-8:00 pm. There will be an outdoor movie at 9:30 pm.
Thursday, there is a swine showmanship show from 8:00-9:00 am and from 8:30-9:30 am, entries from the 4-H and open class gardening and flower exhibits will be accepted.
Entries for poultry classes will be accepted from 9:00-11:00 am and there will be a country market from 10:00 am-11:00 pm. The carnival opens from noon-10:00 pm and exhibits will open to the public at 1:00 pm. The 4-H/FFA lamb weigh-in will run from 3:00-4:00 pm and there is a live free ride hard skate competition from 4:00-6:00 pm. The 4-H/FFA steer showmanship runs from 5:00-7:00 pm and stick horse decorating runs from 6:00-7:00 pm. The battle of the bands runs from 7:00-9:00 pm.
Friday, at 9:00 am, the 4-H/FFA lamb showmanship market opens as does the carnival at 10:00 am through 8:00 pm. The country market runs from 10:00-11:00 am and the FFA beef showmanship opens at 1:30 pm. There will be a hula hoop contest at 3:00 pm and Miss Wasatch and her attendants will perform at 3:30 pm.
There is a baby contest at 4:00 pm and Swiss Miss and her attendants will perform at 5:30 pm. There is a performance from Timpanogos Valley Theater’s Belvedere’s Improv Comedy at 6:30 pm. At 7:30 pm, don’t miss the Mountain Valley Stampede PRCA rodeo.
Saturday, action concludes with exhibits open to the public from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. The FFA livestock sale runs from 9:00 am-4:00 pm and the country market is open from 10:00 am-10:00 pm.
The carnival is open from 10:00 am-10:00 pm and at 11:00 am, there is a performance from Miss Wasatch and her attendants. Talent find winners will perform from 11:30 am-12:30 pm. FFA poultry classes will be released from 12:00-1:00 pm. Swiss Miss and her attendants will perform at noon. The annual county fair parade down Heber City’s Main Street commences at 4:00 pm. This is followed by the final night of Mountain Valley Stampede PRCA rodeo at the Wasatch County fairgrounds.
