HEBER CITY, Utah-The Wasatch County Fair comes to the Heber Valley Friday July 27-Thursday August 9 with fun for the whole family.
The always-popular Demolition Derby, known as the “Wasatch County Wipeout,” comes to the Wasatch County Events Center Friday and Saturday July 27-28. The gates open at 5:00 pm each evening and there will be fireworks before the final heat both nights as well. Please visit wasatchcountyfair.com for more information.
From July 30-August 4 there are various events at the Wasatch County Events Center, the Southfield Park and other locations. Please go to wasatchcountyfair.com for the latest information.
Additionally, on July 31, there is a pool party at the aquatic center from 1:00-3:00 pm open to all ages. Admission is free.
Other prominent events include the carnival opening Wednesday August 1 at the Southfield park from 4:00-10:00 pm.
The always popular Mountain Valley Stampede PRCA Rodeo is Friday and Saturday August 3 and 4 at 7:30 pm each evening. The gates will open at 5:30 pm.

The parade’s grand marshal is long-time Heber Valley resident Gene Probst. Probst, a lifelong Midway resident, is a 1943 graduate of Wasatch High School and after joining the Navy, was part of seven invasions. Probst also played a crucial role in the liberation of the Philippines.
He previously served as Midway’s mayor for 12 years and once served as a member for the advisory committee to handle solid and hazardous waste in Utah.
