HEBER CITY, Utah-Tuesday, the Wasatch County Health Department released its latest covid-19 data as is customary weekly on Tuesdays.
Per information shared by Wasatch County Health Department Health Education and Media Relations coordinator Trudy Brereton, 923-1,259 cases of covid-19 in Wasatch County are recovered, or 73.3 percent.
This is above the state average of 73.05 percent (87,211-119,375).
Just under 26 percent of covid-19 cases in Wasatch County (327-1,259) are active. Statewide, 26.43 percent of covid-19 cases (31,545-119,375) are active.
There have been 44 recorded hospitalizations for covid-19 in Wasatch County and nine deaths attributed to the disease.
The death percentage in Wasatch County is just under 0.715 percent. Statewide, the death rate (620-119,375) is 0.5193 percent and has consistently dropped. Wasatch County has followed the same trajectory in recent months.
Hospitalizations statewide for covid are at 6.46 percent presently (366,5,665). Of the 366, 152 are in ICU or 41.5 percent occupancy.
ICU is at 73.7 percent occupancy statewide per Tuesday’s report.
