(Salt Lake City, UT) — Many Utahns are not going to let the cost of gas keep them from traveling this summer. About 54-percent of those asked in a new Deseret News-Hinckley Institute of Politics poll say gas prices are something they consider before traveling. But only six-percent of the nearly eight-hundred people polled plan to cancel or postpone their trips due to the cost of gas. Around 17-percent say they plan to take shorter trips, while 16-percent may take fewer trips. Forty-six-percent say they won’t let gas prices alter their plans this summer.
