PROVO, Utah-Utah Rep. Senator Mike Lee mocked a Provo elementary school’s efforts to combat covid-19 Wednesday evening.
In a tweet that has since been deleted, Lee posted a photo of “power shields” installed around desks at Edgemont Elementary School.
On Facebook, Lee likened these power shields to cages.
In a follow-up Facebook post Thursday, Lee apologized for his comments, saying that “reasonable minds can disagree as to the best solution in any given set of circumstances.”
