Utah Public Colleges, Universities See Enrollment Increase

(Cedar City, UT) — More students are attending public colleges and universities in Utah. The Utah System of Higher Education announced this week an enrollment increased to more than 198-thousand students this year, a nearly two percent jump compared to last year. Cedar City’s Southern Utah University saw the highest climb in enrollment at nearly five percent. Officials say this year’s enrollment at SUU is the largest in the school’s history. Utah Tech University in St. George saw just a minor increase and has an enrollment of more than 12-thousand-500.
