Utah Public Colleges Looking Into Three Year Bachelor’s Program

(Salt Lake City, UT) — State Public Universities and Colleges are looking into creating a path to receiving a bachelor’s degree in three years. The Utah System of Higher Education is creating a Bachelor of Applied Studies category that would require 90 credits instead of 120. The concept still needs national accreditation and from the state’s Board of Higher Education. The areas of study will be determined by industry needs.
