Utah Is Looking To Adjust Its Spearfishing Rules

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah wildlife officials are looking to adjust its spearfishing rules. The state Division of Wildlife Resources unveiled a series of possible rule changes that will allow spearfishing to grow in the state. The proposed changes will allow the sport to take place in more rivers. Wildlife officials say the changes will help address illegal fish introductions since spear anglers can target specific species.
