SALT LAKE CITY-Because of the record-breaking wind gusts in northern Utah that have uprooted trees and closed down the University of Utah among other things Tuesday, the Utah Highway Patrol has restricted semi-truck travel in Weber, Davis and Box Elder Counties.
This is because several trees and low power lines are partially blocking highways and interstates in the area.
ALERT: We are restricting semi travel in Box Elder, Weber and Davis counties after a number have blown over due to the high winds in the area. We also have several trees and low power lines partially blocking highways & interstates in the area.
