Utah Has Youngest Median Age In U.S.

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah is the youngest state in the country. The U.S. Census Bureau says residents of the Beehive State have a median age of 31-years-old, which is more than three years younger than any other state. In Utah and Cache counties, the median age is just 25-years-old. That’s the youngest median age among any county in the country with a population of at least 100-thousand people. Across the nation, only seven counties have a median age below thirty. Both Iron and Juab county’s median ages were just over 30.
