Utah GOP Scrubbing 2024 Presidential Primary For In-Person Caucus

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah Republicans will decide who they want to be the party’s 2024 presidential nominee through in-person party caucuses rather than a traditional primary election. The caucuses are scheduled for next March 5th, known as Super Tuesday, when more than a dozen states from California to Maine will hold nominating contests. Voting in caucuses will be limited to “those how are registered to vote as affiliated members of the Republican Party of Utah,” according to a letter from party chairman Rob Axson to Lieutenant Governor Deidre Henderson.
