Utah Farm Bureau President Resigns After Alleged Assault Of Worker

(Weber County, UT) — The Utah Farm Bureau president is resigning after allegedly hitting a farm worker. Police say Ron Gibson is under investigation because the altercation brought to light allegations of fraud and human trafficking. Gibson also resigned from his position on the board of directors for the American Farm Bureau Federation. Officials say his first court appearance is scheduled for September.
