Utah Department of Health Gives Friday Briefing on Coronavirus

SALT LAKE CITY-In addressing the media Friday, the Utah Department of Health confirmed that COVID-19 cases in Utah have increased to 112 as of 1:05 pm.

This is an increase of 34 cases from Thursday.

As the briefing ensued, the department confirmed the cases will rise as is customary throughout the rest of the country.

As of Friday, Salt Lake County (44) and Summit County (28) have the most cases of coronavirus in the Beehive State.

The department says that everyone who has passed the infectious point of the disease will survive.

Presently, 2,147 Utahns have been tested for COVID-19. This information is updated daily at coronavirus.utah.gov.
