Utah County Terminates Mask Mandate; Masks Are Still Required

PROVO, Utah-Monday, Utah County opted to terminate its mask mandate.

Nevertheless, masks are still required in Utah’s second-most populous county under the state’s new covid-19 response plan.

The mandate issued by the Utah County Health Department and the Utah County Board of Commissioners went into effect September 22.

The letter states that because of this termination, the health order is not subject to a referendum.
