Utah County Appoints Defense Attorney For Tyler Robinson

(Provo, UT) — The man accused of killing Charlie Kirk now has a lawyer. The Utah County Commission appointed defense attorney Kathryn Nester as Tyler Robinson’s lawyer yesterday. Nester has served as defense counsel in several other high-profile cases, and is currently representing murder suspect Kouri Richins. The commission also approved using a million dollars to help pay for legal expenses related to the Robinson case. Prosecutors are planning to pursue the death penalty against Robinson, who was charged with aggravated murder after allegedly shooting Kirk on the campus of Utah Valley University two weeks ago.
