UT Man Makes Bomb Threat On Plane

(Salt Lake City, UT) — A West Jordan man is accused of making a bomb threat on a flight from San Diego. Federal investigators say Cameron E. Korth admitted to writing a note threatening there was a bomb on the plane and there should be no attempt to land on Tuesday. They say he left the note in the bathroom of the plane and then told flight attendants he found it. The plane landed in Denver at an isolated part of the runway where a bomb squad swept the plane. The 20-year-old faces up to ten years in prison and a 250-thousand dollar fine.
