UT Lawmakers Pass Proposal to Let Voters Give Them Power to Change Voter-Led Initiatives

(Salt lake City, UT) — Utah lawmakers plan to ask voters in November to approve giving legislators the power to revise voter-led ballot initiatives. In a special session yesterday, Republican leaders in the legislature said the proposal is meant to check the power of special interest groups from using ballot language that would benefit them.
