UT Governor Warns Of Online “Adversaries” Encouraging Violence

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The governor of Utah says there’s “tremendous amounts of disinformation” about the Charlie Kirk shooting circulating on social media. Republican Spencer Cox spoke at a press conference Thursday and told reporters not to be fooled by the unfounded theories running rampant online. Cox warned, “our adversaries want violence,” and said “we have bots from Russia, China, all over the world, that are trying to instill disinformation and encourage violence.”
