AMERICAN FORK CANYON, Utah-Tuesday, the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest announced the closure of one lane of traffic on S.R. 92 just below Timpanogos Cave Monument and just west of the old power plant.
A large crane will be on-site to place a temporary bridge (street crossing) across the river.
This is to work on the spring associated with the American Fork waterline construction project.
The roadway will be pared down to one passable lane. Regular-sized vehicles will be able to pass but large trailers and transport vehicles will not fit and cannot pass.
The forest advises the public to plan accordingly.
