WASATCH COUNTY, Utah-Friday evening, the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest confirmed the temporary closure of the Strawberry Visitors Center trail/boardwalk.
This is on the Heber-Kamas District of the forest.
It has been temporarily closed because of the threats of flooding that exist as temperatures warm up and cause the snowpack to rapidly melt in the region.
The forest told Heber Valley Radio, via its Twitter account, that the bridge is expected to re-open June 23 if the water has receded in the region.
This spring, the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest advises adventurers to be wise in using forest land in the Heber Valley and surrounding areas
