Two Dead, One Injured In Highway 40 Crash

Two people are dead and one person is critically injured after a head on crash on Highway 40 near Strawberry Reservoir. According to reports, just before 4:00 p.m. near milepost 47, a gray Dodge pickup lost control traveling eastbound and crossed over in the westbound lanes hitting a black Honda Accord head on. Both the 37 year old male driver of the pickup and the 21 year old female passenger of the Honda Accord were pronounced dead at the scene. The 21 year old male driver of the Honda was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
