SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.
81.74 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (236,196-288,951) are recovered.
17.8 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (51,443-288,951) are active cases.
In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (1,898) exceeded new active cases (1,413).
New net cases recorded totaled 3,318 in the same span.
There are 184,753 more recoveries than active cases in Utah per Tuesday’s report.
55,981 vaccinations have been administered in Utah. This is an increase of 7,406 in the past 24 hours.
Of the 11,356 all-time hospitalizations in Utah, 510 are currently hospitalized or 4.49 percent.
Of the 510, 177 are in ICU or 34.71 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.
84.2 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 85.3 percent of ICU referral center beds.
1,312 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.454 percent of all-time cases.
Wasatch School District has 21 active cases out of 474 all-time cases or 4.43 percent. This is a decrease from Monday’s 5.3 percent.
Wasatch County has 3,317 all-time cases, 81 all-time hospitalizations and 15 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
