SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, the Wasatch County Health Department confirmed the latest recovery percentage for Wasatch County covid-19 cases.
Per information released by Wasatch County Health Department health education/media relations coordinator Trudy Brereton, 635-714 covid-19 cases in Wasatch County are recovered, or 88.9 percent.
This is significantly down from last Tuesday’s report of 91.1 percent.
However, the hospitalizations (33) and deaths (7) remain unchanged in the past 24 hours. The most recent death attributed to covid-19 in Wasatch County occurred August 28.
Furthermore, Provo and Orem were sent back to the orange level of restriction effective September 23 at 11:59 pm.
This is significant for Wasatch County as this means sports may continue, but fans are not allowed to attend. The Wasatch High School football team is visiting Provo High School Friday.
Fans can listen in on 94.5 The Peak and on hebervalleyradio.com at 6:30 pm Friday evening for this broadcast.
Additionally, Rich County was granted permission to advance to green status.
