SALT LAKE CITY-Tuesday, the covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.
81.13 percent of covid-19 cases (281,522-269,326) statewide are recovered.
18.4 percent of covid-19 cases (49,569-269,326) statewide are active cases.
In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (2,280) exceed new active cases (440).
There are 168,953 more recoveries than active cases statewide.
20,417 vaccines have been administered statewide. This is an increase of 2,874 in the past 24 hours.
Of the 10,763 all-time hospitalizations statewide, 506 are currently hospitalized or 4.7 percent.
Of the 506, 164 are in ICU or 32.4 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.
79.7 percent of ICU beds are occupied in Utah Tuesday and 82.4 percent of ICU referral center beds.
1,235 deaths statewide have been attributed to covid-19 or 0.459 percent of all-time cases.
Wasatch County School District has 40 active cases out of 461 all-time cases, or 8.68 percent. This number continues to drop, as it was at 10.15 percent Monday.
Wasatch County has 3,117 all-time cases, 79 all-time hospitalizations and 15 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
