(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Utah Republican Party is making available the final results from the Super Tuesday presidential preference poll. The caucus meetings held on March 5th were interrupted by some procedural confusion and do reflect a low voter turnout. The results show that former President Donald Trump secured 56.4-percent of all votes counted. His nearest competitor, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, received 42.7 percent. Texas businessman Ryan Binkley, who dropped out of the race after ballots were printed, got 1 percent of the vote. Utah GOP chairman Robert Axson says Trump has secured all of Utah’s 40 national delegates. Delegates will be chosen this April at the state convention. The Republican national convention is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, starting on July 15th.
