Secretary of state Mike Pompeo stated that border crossing rules would be enforced strictly as of midnight EDT Saturday evening. He confirmed that all those who are found without documentation will swiftly be sent back to their nations of origin.
Trump confirmed that a large amount of patients contracting the virus could crush hospital capacity and worsen worst-case scenarios if critically ill patients do not receive the treatment they need.
Vice President Mike Pence confirmed a member of his staff contracted the virus and he confirmed he will undergo a test for the coronavirus.
