Trump and the coronavirus Task Force Give Monday Briefing

WASHINGTON-Monday, United States president Donald Trump and the coronavirus task force again gave a briefing on the latest information concerning COVID-19.

Trump commenced his statements by saying that the next 30 days (March 30-April 30) are absolutely pivotal in combating the coronavirus.

Dr. Stephen Hahn, the commissioner of Food and Drugs with the Food and Drug Administration then spoke about the innovations of Abbott Laboratories and how their technology can be used to conduct up to 100,000 coronavirus tests per day.

Greg Hayes of United Technologies/Raytheon also addressed the media, confirming that his companies will use their technology to assist the Air Force in transporting medical evacuees.

He also boldly proclaimed “logistics win war,” speaking of warfare against the “invisible enemy,” COVID-19.

In closing, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director, immunologist Anthony Fauci, spoke of how a vaccine will be developed and once the coronavirus rebounds in the autumn season, the U.S. will have sufficient resources at its disposal to combat it.
