SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, covid-19 statistics for Utah were updated by the state department of health.
83.8 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (276,793-330,469) are recovered.
15.78 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (52,129-330,469) are active cases.
In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (4,680) exceed new active cases (-2,621) and new net recorded cases (2,089).
There are 224,664 more recoveries than active cases statewide.
193,777 Utahns have been vaccinated per Thursday’s report. Of these, 173,587 (89.6 percent) have received one dose. 20,190 Utahns (10.4 percent) have received the recommended two doses of the vaccine.
In Wasatch County, 2,217 residents have been vaccinated. Of these, 2,144 have received one dose (96.7 percent). 73 Wasatch County residents (3.3 percent). have received two doses.
Of the 12,803 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 529 are currently hospitalized or 4.13 percent.
Of the 529, 209 are in ICU or 39.5 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.
91.3 percent of ICU beds statewide are occupied and 93.6 percent of ICU referral center beds.
1,547 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.468 percent of all-time cases.
Wasatch County School District has 61 active cases out of 579 all-time cases or 10.54 percent.
Wasatch County has 3,853 all-time cases, 88 all-time hospitalizations and 16 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
