SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, covid-19 statistics for Utah were updated by the state department of health.

68.8 percent of covid-19 cases (98,897-143,639) are recovered statewide.

30.7 percent of covid-19 cases (44,055-143,639) are active cases in Utah per Thursday’s report.

There are 54,842 more recoveries than active cases in Utah.

Of the 6,487 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah, 468 are currently hospitalized or 7.21 percent.

Of the 468, 191 are in ICU or 40.81 percent of ICU occupancy.

83 percent of ICU beds are occupied in Utah, including 87.4 percent of referral center ICU beds.

Deaths attributed to covid-19 in Utah currently number 687 statewide. This caused the death percentage to drop to 0.4782 percent.

Wasatch County has 1,498 all-time covid-19 cases, 49 hospitalizations and 10 deaths attributed to the virus.
