SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.
82.1 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (260,728-317,559) are recovered cases.
17.4 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (55,371-317,559) are active cases.
In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (2,904) exceed new net recorded cases (-2,742) and new active cases (-173).
There are 205,357 more recoveries than active cases statewide.
Via survey, 133,207 vaccines have been administered in Utah. The Utah Statewide Immunization Information System attests 125,926 recorded vaccines have been administered.
Of the 12,249 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah, 559 are currently hospitalized or 4.56 percent.
Of the 559, 194 are in ICU or 34.7 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.
93.5 percent of ICU beds statewide are occupied and 96.7 percent of ICU referral center beds.
1,460 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide or 0.459 percent of all-time cases.
Wasatch School District has 45 active cases out of 525 all-time cases or 8.57 percent. This is up from Wednesday’s 7.34 percent.
Wasatch County has 3,654 all-time cases, 840 all-time hospitalizations and 16 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
