SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

81.51 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (242,361-297,317) are recovered.

18.03 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (53,597-297,317) are active cases.

In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (3,158) exceed new active cases (1,410) with new net recorded cases (4,597) exceeding each of them for the third consecutive day.

There are 188,764 more recoveries than active cases statewide.

68,030 vaccines have now been administered statewide. This an increase of 7,568 in the past 24 hours.

Of the 11,578 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19 statewide, 537 are currently hospitalized, or 4.64 percent of all-time cases.

Of the 537, 187 are currently in ICU or 34.8 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.

87 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 87.4 percent of ICU referral center beds.

1,359 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 statewide, or 0.457 percent of all-time cases.

Wasatch County School District has 23 current cases out of 482 all-time cases, or 4.78 percent. This is an increase from Wednesday’s 4.61 percent.

Wasatch County has 3,386 all-time covid-19 cases, 83 all-time hospitalizations and 16 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
