SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

69.3 percent of covid-19 cases statewide (142,939-206,165) are recovered.

30.2 percent of covid-19 cases in Utah (62,309) are active cases.

In the past 24 hours, new recoveries (3,944) exceeded new active cases (-10).

There are 80,630 more recoveries than active cases statewide.

Of the 8,548 all-time hospitalizations for covid-19, 597 are currently hospitalized or 6.98 percent.

Of the 597, 209 are in ICU or 35.1 percent of ICU occupancy statewide.

85.7 percent of ICU beds are occupied statewide and 88.8 percent of ICU referral center beds.

917 deaths have been attributed to covid-19 in Utah, or 0.448 percent of all-time covid-19 cases.

In Wasatch County, there have been 2,373 all-time covid-19 cases, 59 all-time hospitalizations (-2 from Wedesday’s report) and 13 all-time deaths attributed to the virus.
