SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, covid-19 statistics were updated for the state of Utah by the state’s department of health.

There have been 90,461 recorded cases of covid-19. This is an increase of 1,498 in the past 24 hours.

948,002 Utahns have been tested for covid-19. This is an increase of 7,315 Utahns in the past 24 hours.

There are 66,683 recoveries from covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 1,211 recoveries in the past 24 hours.

The recovery percentage is 73.7 percent.

There are 23,249 active cases of covid-19 in Utah. This is an increase of 285 active cases in the past 24 hours. The active case percentage is 25.7 percent.

For the 11th consecutive day, new recoveries outnumbered new active cases. There are 43,434 more recoveries than active cases in Utah. This is an increase of 656 in the past 24 hours.

There have been 4,511 recorded hospitalizations for covid-19 in Utah. Of these, 258 are currently hospitalized, or 5.72 percent.

Of the 258, 99 are currently in ICU or 38.4 percent. ICU is presently 73.7 percent occupied in Utah.

Two new deaths attributed to covid-19 were recorded Thursday in Utah. This raises the total to 529 deaths. This dropped the death percentage to 0.584 percent.

Wasatch County experienced 12 new cases of covid-19 Thursday, raising the total to 946.

The hospitalizations (37) and deaths (9) attributed to covid-19 in Wasatch County remain unchanged in the past 24 hours.
