(Salt Lake City, UT) — Thousands of Utah residents are expected to lose internet assistance at the end of May. That’s because May 30th marks the last full day of the Affordable Connectivity Program, which helps cover internet bills for many people living across the state. State officials say the program is running out of money, and those enrolled will once again have to pay full price for their internet connection. According to the FCC, there are about 75-thousand Utah residents enrolled in the program.
