Text Admitting Assaults Read In Torrey Green Hearing 

(Logan, UT)  –  Prosecutors say former NFL linebacker Torrey Green admitted he sexually assaulted women in a text he sent to a female friend.  Texts submitted during the second day of Green’s preliminary hearing yesterday show the former Utah State football player wrote, quote, “they said I raped them yes I did.”  The same text goes on to say, quote, “its my fault i’m the one who did it.”  Prosecutors say the text was sent last July, a few days after the “Salt Lake Tribune” article in which four women said they were sexually assaulted by an unidentified student.  Green’s preliminary hearing is expected to wrap up today.
