SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday, The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square announced they will commence a live-stream organ recital series from the Salt Lake Tabernacle at Temple Square.
The opening event, “Piping Up: Tabernacle Organists in Concert, will air June 17 at 7:00 pm on the choir’s YouTube channel, the choir’s Web site and the live watch page for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
This 45-minute concert will include a wide variety of music, featuring everything from classical to traditional hymns and spirituals.
As of Monday June 22, the choir will then stream organ recitals weekly. These concerts will then be streamed Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 12:00 pm MDT.
Each day, one of the five organists will perform.
