SALT LAKE CITY-Sunday, covid-19 statistics were updated for Utah by the state department of health.

73.21 percent of covid-19 cases in Utah are recovered (85,299-116,510) per Sunday’s report.

26.3 percent of covid-19 cases in Utah (30,597-116,510) are active cases.

For the 28th consecutive day, new recoveries (1,198) exceeded new active cases (646) in Utah.

There are 54,702 more recoveries than active cases in Utah per Sunday’s report. This is an increase of 552 in the past 24 hours.

342 of the 5,526 hospitalizations for covid-19 are currently hospitalized, or 6.18 [6.2] percent.

Of the 342, 130 are in ICU, or 38.01 percent of ICU occupancy. 73.7 percent of ICU is occupied in Utah per Sunday’s report.
